Terms of Service
Draft — last revised August 2026
1. The service
AMP Cortex is a cloud communications platform operated by AMP Telecom, providing PBX, calling, messaging, and AI agent services. These terms govern your access to and use of the service, whether purchased directly or through an authorized MSP or reseller partner.
2. Accounts and administrators
You are responsible for the accuracy of your account information, the security of your credentials, and the actions of users you provision. Account administrators control feature enablement — including call recording and AI processing — and are responsible for configuring the service consistent with their legal obligations.
3. Acceptable use
You may not use the service for unlawful robocalling, spoofing, harassment, or any activity that violates the Telephone Consumer Protection Act, the Truth in Caller ID Act, or equivalent laws. You are responsible for obtaining any consents required for call recording and for AI participation in calls in your jurisdictions of operation.
4. Emergency services
The service supports e911 in the United States. VoIP 911 differs from traditional 911: it depends on your registered address, power, and internet connectivity. You must keep registered addresses current for every device and inform users of these limitations as required by FCC rules.
5. AI agents
AI agents generate responses automatically based on your configuration and knowledge base. You are responsible for reviewing agent configurations, for disclosures to callers that they are speaking with an automated system where required by law, and for the accuracy of information your agents are configured to provide.
6. Billing and termination
Subscriptions bill monthly or annually in advance; usage charges (international calling, additional numbers) bill in arrears. You may cancel at any time, effective at the end of the current billing period. We may suspend service for non-payment or material breach with notice, except where immediate suspension is required to protect the network or comply with law.
7. Service levels
Uptime commitments and service credits are defined in the SLA for your plan tier. Credits are your exclusive remedy for availability failures. Scheduled maintenance is announced at least 72 hours in advance and excluded from SLA calculations.
8. Liability
The service is provided "as is" to the maximum extent permitted by law. Our aggregate liability is limited to fees paid in the twelve months preceding the claim. Neither party is liable for indirect or consequential damages, except for breaches of confidentiality or your violations of the acceptable use policy.
